Damn AI

We've found two more covers that were apparently designed with AI, so we've replaced those with very generic temporary covers until we can acquire new artwork. We have a strict no AI policy, and these artists signed contracts stating that their work was not AI.

Not really sure what happened to artistic integrity, but apparently a lot of new artists don't have it. We're a small press, so we obviously can't sue them for contract violation, and we're not petty enough to post their names online, but we do have a lot of contacts within the small press community, so we will be sharing their names with other editors.

Not only are we disappointed in these so-called artists, but we're disappointed in ourselves as well for not catching these obvious fakes. We have a better understanding now of what to look for, and we will be keeping a better eye on all future submissions.

For the record: NOMADIC DELIRIUM PRESS DOES NOT ACCEPT AI CRAP. THIS INCLUDES FICTION, NON-FICTION, ART, OR ANYTHING ELSE WE MIGHT PUBLISH. If you want to create that kind of crap, send it somewhere else, we don't want to see it!

AI cover for Goatherds & Gods?

Over the last few months, we've had a few people approach us about the cover for Goatherds & Gods saying that they think it's AI, or flat out telling us that we suck for using an AI cover. The truth is, this cover was presented to us as original artwork by the artist, and they even signed a contract stating that they did not us AI to create the cover, and we took them for their word, which apparently was our mistake.

We have been trying to contact the artist to get their side of the story, but so far, we have been unable to get in contact with them...which makes us wonder even more. As a result, we have decided to replace the cover with a generic temporary cover until this issue can be resolved.

Nomadic Delirium Press does not support the use of AI in our artwork or in the fiction or games that we publish. If this was indeed an AI piece, than we apologize to everyone for using this art. It was never our intention to use AI artwork, and we will try to make sure we do not make the same mistake again.
