Unfortunately, we have decided that there will be no 2026 issue of The Martian Wave. Nomadic Delirium Press is basically a one man operation, and this man and his family are facing very difficult times, possibly facing eviction very soon, so the idea of putting together a zine seems kind of silly, especially since I would want to make sure that I can pay the writers.
Sadly, this means that this will be the first time in more than a quarter century that there isn't at least one issue of The Martian Wave published.
Nomadic Delirium Press is still going to continue publishing. The majority of what we publish pays royalties instead of advances, so we are still able to do that, and we are hoping to get things back on track so that we can go back to publishing zines in 2027.
If you happen to be curious about what is going on with J and his family, check out the blog at https://jalanerwine.blogspot.com/2026/07/my-family-needs-help.html and if you'd like to help, there is a gofundme at https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-the-erwine-family. If you can't help out financially, because we know times are tough for just about everyone, please consider sharing the link.
Hopefully things will be back on track soon, and NDP can continue to bring you some of the best science fiction the small press has to offer.
