For many years, we've used Kindle Direct for the publishing of our paperback and hardback books. Unfortunately, we are having serious problems with Amazon at this time, and as a result, we will have to use a different distributor for our print books. The biggest side-effect for you, the consumer, is that we will have to charge more for our print books. Say what you will about Amazon, and believe me, we could say a lot, they are cheaper than just about anywhere else for publishers, so we will have no choice but to raise prices, and this will probably start taking effect over the next couple of weeks.
For now, we're having to reformat more than a hundred titles, so some of our print books may not be available for a while, and considering how difficult Amazon is being, our books may not be available there for much longer.
We also will not be able to do hardback books, at least for now, so those nice hardbound RPG titles that you like so much are only going to be available for another week or two.
This is a huge inconvenience for everyone, and we apologize, but there just seems to be no way of working things out with Amazon.
